General Conference

It has been over a month since I have written but I have been busy and have enjoyed life.  Recently, I had the blessing and spiritual experience of sustaining our new prophet, Thomas Monson.  The solemn assembly was truly a spiritual experience and one I will remember for a long time.  As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I have a strong testimony of our prophet and know that there is modern-day revelation.
One of the speakers at conference that I enjoyed was Elder Rasband.  He talked about special spiritual experiences and I was reminded of years ago, serving with him in an Elder's Quorum Presidency.  We had presidency meetings in the home of Jon Huntman and he would give us counsel to help us in our responsibility.  It was a wonderful memory of mine to reflect upon.
I know the gospel of Jesus Christ is true and that we have the restored church here on the earth today.  I know that the Book of Mormon is true scripture and supports the Bible as spoken word.  I know that there is life after death and that we will a family together forever.

Snowmobiling

Another fantastic weekend of snowmobiling.   Friday night was clear and crisp and snowmobiling was awesome.  The snow was crisp and sometimes the turns were challenging.
Saturday, the weather was snowy and it continued to add more powder to the already wonderful snow.  The family took all 4 snowmobiles to our favorite open field and chased each other.  It is a beautiful sight to look around and see the all white snow.  It is truly a 'winter wonderland' !
I can't wait for the next weekend of snowmobiling !

One of the most favorite hobbies I have is riding snowmobiles.  This is a picture of 'Black Powder' and this machine is 'gutless'.  Even though it is an 'old' machine, it still keeps up with the other guys in their fancy machines.
This year has been an incredible year as the snowfall has reached over 8 feet of snow.  This makes it exciting to find open fields and let the snowmobile work the powder and feel the power.  Hopefully, we still have about 4 weeks of snowmobiling left this winter.
